Not surprisingly, prisons can be a lonely place and correspondence can serve multiple purposes in relieving the isolation prisoners face. Correspondents outside may have different interests in who they write to and why. Below is a list of folks inside who have sent on their mailing information in request for correspondents on the outside, as well as links to other and oftentimes more specific prison correspondence projects. Before you write to a prisoner please familiarize yourself with some tips on writing to prisoners.
